Spring is a great time to visit Santa Fe. It is still considered “shoulder season” from a tourism standpoint, so there are not as many visitors as in summer. Spring has some great local events and happenings to explore. Here are some of our favorites.

Santa Fe Farmers Market 

When: Weekly on Saturdays 8am -1pm

Santa Fe is a consummate foodie town. And foodies adore fresh, local organic produce. Sunset Magazine voted this event as one of the “Top Ten Farmers’ Markets.” It is one of the oldest, largest, and most successful growers’ markets in the country. Serving more than 150 farmers and producers in Northern New Mexico.

Railyard Artisan Market

The Lensic Performing Arts Center is Santa Fe’s jewel of all things performing arts. They feature a wide variety of performances, including Music, Comedy, Speaking Presentations, Dance, Film Festivals, Theatre, Opera and more. Be sure to check these calendars to see which performances are scheduled during your visit. Some sell out, so get advance tickets.

Santa Fe International Literary Festival
